Associate - Residential Property

Are you ready to take the next step in your conveyancing career?

We're looking for an experienced Residential Property fee earner to join our growing team in either Maidstone or Canterbury.

Whether you're a Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or have qualified through another route, we'd love to hear from you if you're confident managing a residential conveyancing caseload and are looking to develop your career with a leading regional law firm.

What you'll be doing

You'll manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, working with a broad range of clients and transactions. You'll also:

• Deliver excellent client service throughout the conveyancing process
• Handle matters independently with minimal supervision
• Build trusted relationships with clients and professional contacts
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Residential Property team and wider firm
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the department

What we're looking for

We're open to all qualification routes, but you'll need:

• Experience handling residential conveyancing transactions from start to finish
• The ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
• Strong technical knowledge of residential property matters
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• A proactive and collaborative approach
• Confidence using case management systems and legal technology
• Experience dealing with more complex conveyancing matters would be advantageous

The Team

You'll be joining a well-established team of 18 professionals, including Solicitors, Legal Executives, Conveyancers, Paralegals, Legal Secretaries and more, led by Sara Smith. The team is known for its collaborative approach, technical expertise and commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
